RIP Teddy Pendergrass (March 26, 1950- January 13, 2010).

I will forever remember to “Turn off the lights” and know when to “let it go” when it looks like another Love TKO.

Missed but never forgotten, Teddy P.

Breaking News: University of South Florida head coach, Jim Leavitt becomes the latest coach to be fired for alleged “mistreatment of players”. Leavitt joins Kansas’ Mark Mangino, and Texas Tech’s Mike Leach to be fired for this “treatment”.

Call me crazy, but isn’t this football? “Mistreatment of players” is a misnomer an oxymoron in the game of football. These are men, and if you don’t want the coach to raise his voice at you or ever make contact with you, maybe you should try playing chess.

The true “mistreatment” would be sending these young men out there in the first place, or better yet, not letting the players get a piece of the FINANCIAL pie. I’m just saying.

I digress.

It’s Cheaper to Keep Her

Just got word that Braylon Edwards’ BM (Nic from ANTM) just had their son. The umbilical cord isn’t cut good, and she had already made her intentions known. Nic’s desire of $70K a montth in chilld support is almost as silly as Ezell’s claim in “Friday”, when he said he wanted “a hundred and fifty thousand…but we can settle out of court for 20 bucks.”

Its these type of insane claims that keep brothas leary of these party girls. I mean even Kelis (who mind you had been married for a number of years before a bitter divorce) only wanted $40K a month in child support.

Now that the bidding is now up to $70K/month, you wonder what Elin Woods (Nordegren) is hatching up for Eldrick in her lab with her handlers.

I guess the question is have is does the old adage “It’s cheaper to keep her” still apply? We have chicks out her tryin to trap high profile “clients” with turkey basters and hole in condoms, and strategically “forgetting” to take their birth control. I’m just askin, what’s the next level?

Ladies, you can understand why successful Black men can get verrrrry cautious when it comes to commiting or settling down? To borrow a phrase from Three 6 Mafia, “its hard out here for a pimp.”

Fellas, how does one enter an intimate relationship with a female when some of them are setting fellas up for the big payday. Nic is a beauitiful woman, and of course there is always a man’s responsibility to take care of their seed financially, but what does Baby Braylon need to get with $840,000 per year? I’m just saying.

When will it end? I suppose it will end when men and women commit to make better decisions as who they are “doin the nasty” with.

Ante up.
